Who are we?
FlightDeck is developed and maintained by the the team at eBook Architects, a service of Firebrand Technologies. eBook Architects has many decades of combined eBook development experience, and FlightDeck draws on the breadth of that experience.
Derek Kurth, the lead software architect on the FlightDeck project, has a long history with eBook development. Derek has a bachelor's in Computer Engineering from Texas A&M University and a master's in Robotics from Carnegie Mellon University. He has been a software developer in the eBook space since 2003, developing tools and processes to create and sell eBook files more efficiently.
Joshua Tallent, the founder of eBook Architects, has been an eBook developer, teacher, and quality advocate since 2002. He serves on multiple industry committees and working groups, teaches at industry conferences year-round, and works hard to keep the eBook Architects team running smoothly.
